****IMPORTANT NOTES****
· DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS, PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY BAGS UNATTENDED NEAR THE POLICE STATION. We recommend bags be left at home or locked in your vehicle. We cannot assume responsibility for lost, stolen or confiscated items.
· For your safety and the best experience on the 5K run, please do not approach the Start Line until you hear your pace group (by minutes per mile) called. We will gather at the DJ/Announcer near the corner of Dwyer Lane & Fanok Road and call any runners anticipating a 6-minute (through 6:59) per mile pace (under 22-minute finish time) to the start line first at 8:15 a.m. and will send a new pace group approximately every minute. The 5K will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m.
· For safety reasons, we strongly discourage the use of baby joggers and strollers on the racecourse. If you choose to use them, you will be asked to begin the race behind all other race participants. Please note that there is a one-hour cutoff for race completion per town regulations.
· We encourage you to come hydrated and bring a hydration pack or favorite water bottle. This will alleviate any congestion near the water stations and reduce our environmental impact. However, we will have plenty of water available.
· The 5K finish and refreshments area will have sealed water bottles available. There will be cups of water at the 5K water stations, and on the refreshment table. We encourage you to bring a hydration pack or favorite water bottle to alleviate any congestion near the water station(s) and to reduce our environmental impact. Water coolers will be available for you to fill your water bottle.
· Morris Township recycles! Please help us help the environment and respect the property of neighbors along the race route. Bins will be available for disposing of recyclables and trash and boxes will be in place to collect banana peels. We're composting! We are also accepting Tyvek race bibs for recycling at the BestLife.Events “Convenience Corner” tent.
