FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
'Where to park', 'Where to look for race results', 'Which age group awards exist and how do I qualify', and many more answers to your questions!
1. HOW LONG WILL I HAVE TO FINISH?
Cut off time of 2:45min (16+ min. miles). If runners fall below 16 minute pace, they may be asked to use the sidewalk and obey all traffic regulations. The finish line will remain open for 3 hours and you will receive a medal when you cross.
2. Race Safety
No dogs, pets, or strollers allowed. Participants must be alert to their surroundings and able to hear medical emergency vehicles, buses, official marathon vehicles and the Mountain Goat bike support team. The course is restricted to registered athletes and official race personnel only. Walkers, animals, skateboards, in-line skates, roller skates, scooters, bicycles and baby joggers/strollers are prohibited. We strongly discourage the use of headphones in both ears for your safety as well as the safety of others.
3. DO I NEED TO WEAR MY BIB?
Yes every runner needs a bib in order to receive a time and medal. Bibs must be worn on the outside of all clothing at both the start and finish lines in order for chips to read effectively. Your bib must be visible at all times. Make sure NOT to bend the strips and that all emergency information on the back of the bib is complete. This is critical should you need medical attention on the course.
4. WHERE CAN I FIND MY TIME?
Results can be viewed live on the Leone Timing and Runsignup website. Please scan the QR code on your bib to go directly there.
Results will be listed in two categories:
Gun Time – time recorded when you cross the finish line; based on the actual gun start time of the race
Chip Time – your personal time from when you crossed the start line timing mat until you cross the finish line
5. IS THERE A BAG CHECK?
There will NOT be a bag check. Please plan accordingly as unattended bags present a security concern.
6. IS THERE ENTERTAINMENT OR AID STATIONS ON THE COURSE?
Yes, we have six water/Gatorade stations on the course, all highlighted on our map. There will be no energy gels. The streets are filled with bands and supporters for your enjoyment. Be nice to all neighbors, volunteers and fellow runners. We all need to work together in order to continue having this great event.
