About this Race Series

The ORS Race Series has a long history of running events within the Jackson, Michigan area.  Orthopaedic Rehab Specialists, PC (ORS) is the title sponsor for this series.  WE WANT TO HELP YOU GET BACK TO WORKING, PLAYING, AND LIVING!
As your community partner in health & wellness, Orthopaedic Rehab Specialists offers physical therapy, athletic training, and performance coaching in multiple mid-Michigan communities. ORS is a privately owned and operated Physical Therapy company that prides itself on providing patient centered physical therapy services, while also being strong presence within the communities they serve. ORS believes that movement matters and by providing these opportunities to get out and walk, run for fun or to be competitive if very important to living a healthy life.

This unique series provides communities with family friendly events for individuals across both age and physical fitness continuum.  Each race in the series has the following components:  A kids fun run (aimed at children10 and under, distances ranging from 1/2 mile to no longer than 1 mile), a walk (5K distance), and a run component. The majority of the races have 5K distances, however there are offerings of varying distances either in conjunction with the 5K or throughout the series including 8k, 5-mile, 10k, 12k, and a 10-mile course. Races begin in Feb, and are completed on Thanksgiving, almost 12 months of opportunities to get out and be active!

Many of the races are built into a community celebration, could be a festival, a holiday, etc.  ALL of the races raise money to provide support to a local group, charity, or non-profit.

This is a fun, competitive, has something for everyone race series.  Points are earned and tracked across all races toward end of series awards.  Awards are distributed at the series opener the following year!
