Why Winter Training Team?
Our Winter Training Teams offer curated routes for newbies to veterans. We welcome runners of varied paces.
You should consider RRRC Winter Training if you:
- are already doing at least 10-15 miles/week
- run/walk 17 mins/mile or faster
- have done a few 5ks and/or 10ks
- complete at least 3 runs/week
- want to train for and finish a half or full marathon
- want the support of a weekend training group
We offer a recommended training plan and weekly supported long runs, with bits of history along the way thanks to Annie Tobey's research. You will receive weekly guidance from our experienced coaches. The water stops are every 3-4 miles and will have water, electrolytes, and nutrition. Our weather each week is always running weather!

RRRC is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that sponsors nearly 20 races each year with distances ranging from the track to half marathon. Club members are runners or those looking to become runners, who are of all paces, ages and shapes. With approximately 2,500 members, RRRC is one of the largest running clubs in the United States.
