Description
Join us for our Annual City Point 5k race! It's fun for all ages!
The City Point 5k, Kids Fun Run and Kinder Dash are brought to you by the collaboration of John Randolph Foundation, Hopewell Recreation and Parks, City of Hopewell and Tri-Cities Road Runners. The City Point 5k, Kids Fun Run and Kinder Dash attract participation from runners, joggers and walkers from all across Central Virginia! The 5k provides participants with breathtaking view of the Appomattox River while exploring downtown Hopewell and historic City Point.
We encourage participants to pick up their packets on Friday, October 11th.
Register early to claim your t-shirt and avoid late fees. Please visit the race webpage for additional information regarding registration, packet pickup, parking, race route, timing and more!
5K Fees:
Adults (18+) - $20 prior to October 5th (Shirt Guaranteed if registered by October 1st)
- $30 October 5th - 11th
Kids (12-17) - Free (Must be registered by October 1st to guarantee shirt)
Kids Fun Run and Kinder-Dash – Free, registration required (t-shirt pickup day of race only)

TO ALLOW FOR SOCIAL DISTANCING, THERE WILL BE NO 5k RACE DAY REGISTRATIONS (FRIDAY OR SATURDAY)

COVID Updates
Please watch this space for COVID updates. We're closely monitoring the CDC recommendations and governor's mandates regarding COVID, and we will post COVID-related race updates here.
10/21/21 - UPDATE
Based on current CDC recommendations, masks are recommended for packet pickup but are not required.
We are not planning to group participants for the 5k start. But your time will not start until you cross the timing mat, so if you would like to socially distance yourself you are welcome to hang out at the back of the group and wait to cross the start line until you're comfortable doing so.
