FAQ

  • Do you issue refunds?
    • This is a come rain or shine event so refunds will not be given if weather is bad or you choose not to attend.
  • If I wanted to push my infant/toddler in a stroller, is that allowed? Would I need to register them as well?
    • Strollers are allowed on the race course and you do not need to register them in order to participate.
  • Is the Kid's Trot separate from the 5K course?
      • Yes! Kids will be grouped by age and run a number of laps around a junior football field inside the Lyndon Recreation Park (located behind the Northeast branch). Ages 4 and under will run a half lap (roughly .15 miles), ages 5-6 will run 1 lap (roughly .25 miles), ages 7-8 will run 2 laps (roughly .5 miles), and ages 9-12 will run 3 laps (roughly .75 miles). We will also have a final "Ultimate Challenge" where all ages can run 4 laps around to see who is the all around fastest!
  • Can I check in or pick up my items before the day of the race?
    • Yes! We will host a Packet Pickup event on Wednesday, 11/27/24, from 10am-7pm in our Big Gymnasium. You can check in, get your race bibs and commemorative T-shirt, and ask additional questions if needed.
  • What if I can't attend the Packet Pickup event the day before, can I get my items that morning?
    • Yes! Packet Pickup will open back up Thanksgiving morning before the race, starting at 7am.
  • Do I have to be an experienced runner to participate?
    • Absolutely not! Our race is perfect for all fitness levels. We do have avid runners but we also have speed walkers and leisurely walkers as well. Whatever makes it fun for you is okay with us!
  • What if I don't register in advance, do I still receive a shirt and medal?
    • Of course! We will have plenty of extra shirts. The only thing we can't guarantee is that you will receive the size you want. They are given out on a first-come first-serve basis. There will be plenty of medals for everyone.
