Twin Lakes-Cautions & Arrival & Parking

Twin Lakes Park is 1/2 mile east of I-75 on Clark Road (6700 Clark Rd, Sarasota, I-75 use exit 205) USE CAUTION driving to the Park! Construction is still ongoing on I-75 and the Clark Rd exits with new traffic patterns. Southbound I-75 is a new, very long exit only lane completed but still lots of barrels. Northbound they haven't finished the exit ramp yet so there is a temporary exit that can sneak up on you among all the barrels blocking what will eventually be the exit ramp.
Lots of easy, free parking available at Twin Lakes Park.
Enter Twin Lakes via the main entrance off Clark Road into Twin Lakes Park and paved, lined parking areas are to the right or more parking in the large grass areas beyond the intersection between the baseball fields.
OR proceed another 0.2 miles on Clark Road to Ibis Street at the traffic light. Turn right on Ibis Street, 0.3 miles, turn right into Twin Lakes Park and plenty of parking is available in the grass areas between the baseball fields.
Use caution when arriving and walking around the park. Swales and low lying areas frequently contain standing water. We recommend you stay on the designated roads, sidewalks and footpaths. Please avoid walking on the soccer field between the pavilion and the start/finish area.
