Team Competition Rules
Sign Up Online for the Navesink Challenge 12k or 5k Team Competition
Team Guidelines:
1. Team Entry is free – no additional charge to be on a team.
2. Teams will be comprised of in the following team divisions: All Male 5k (at least 4, no more than 10), All Female 5k (at least 4, no more than 10), Co-ed 5k (at least 2 Male AND at least 2 female, no more than 10 participants total). The same setup configuration would be used for 12k teams.
3. The team captain should be the first person to register so he/she can create their team name and select the team division during the registration process. TEAM CAPTAIN RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING SURE ALL TEAM MEMBERS ARE RUNNING THE SAME DISTANCE. NO TEAM CAN HAVE A MIX OF 12K & 5K RUNNERS TOGETHER.
4. The team captain should create the team name and inform the prospective teammates to register for the appropriate run. When each member registers they can select the appropriate team to join. No overlapping of teams (each person can only be on one team).
5. The team captain can manage the participants - or contact the race director for team changes.
All teams must be entered by Sunday, November 17, 2024 @ 6 pm. After that time no persons or revision/updates permitted. Teams that do not meet sufficient criteria will be removed.
Team Awards: Awards&Bragging Rights will be presented at the afterparty at Birdsmouth Brewing on race day to the top winning team in their respective team division. Total chip time for the 4 fastest team members will determine the team award winner for the All Male / All Female. For Co-ed, the top 2 fastest times for both male & female will be calculated.
Note: Team members may also place overall, or win in their respective age group divisions.
