RACE DAY INFORMATION
· Race Day packet pick up will open at 7:00am in the white tent at the staging area at Engine Company No. 1 (170 E. Main Street, Somerville, NJ 08876) and Veterans Memorial Drive.
· We will be accepting same day registrations at the orange and black tent from 7:00-8:45am, cash only, exact change appreciated, $45. Shirts are SOLD OUT and will not be provided. Participants cannot be placed on a team.
· Free parking will be available at the parking deck located at 59 Veterans Memorial Drive. (Entrance is between Warren St. and Hamilton St.) As you approach the race site there will be signs directing traffic.
· We kindly request that runners line up according to speed-- the fastest runners should be up front, and walkers, dogs, and strollers towards the rear. The race will begin promptly at 9am.

· Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the following divisions –overall; 10 and under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-55; 56+. The oldest finishers M/F will also receive medals. The overall M/F winners will also receive $150 VISA cards.
· A trophy will be awarded to the team with the Greatest Number of Participants.
· We will be collecting donations in conjunction with SAFE (Somerville Alliance for Food Education) for the Food Bank Network of Somerset County. The most needed items are non-perishable food items, cleaning supplies and hygiene products. Please consider helping those less fortunate.
· Lastly, please post photos on IG using #recintheville for all to enjoy.
Race proceeds directly benefit recreational programming, events, and facilities. Donations are still being accepted at www.somervilleturkeytrot.com.

Race proceeds directly benefit Somerville Recreation programming and facilities for our youths, adults, and seniors. We are using the funds raised from last year's race to help fund the installation of two new inclusive playgrounds in Somerville at Walck Park and Carol Pager Park. The support from our community is crucial to our mission of providing positive recreational opportunities and facilities for all to enjoy.

PRE-RACE PACKET PICKUP
The Somerville 5K Turkey Trot Race Committee is pleased to announce that pre-race packet pick up will be offered on Sunday, November 24!
Location: The Somerset County Regional Farmers Market
Somerville Middle School at the corner of West High Street and Davenport Street
Date: Sunday, November 24 (weather permitting)
Time: 10am-1pm
Participants can pick up multiple packets (bibs and shirts) for family members and friends.
Please consider supporting the Farmers Market which features thirty-two local farmers and fresh food vendors offering a diverse array of New Jersey-sourced products, including vegetables, fruits, meats, flowers, and more. Visitors can explore offerings ranging from maple sugar to goat milk, with themed weeks highlighting seasonal produce like blueberries, strawberries, and pumpkins. The market aims to promote healthy eating habits and community engagement in Somerville.
