Hometown Half Marathon Series

Experience the fun of great half marathon events held in smaller towns in the area.  These events have a different feel and are presented by folks that want to show off their towns and their race courses to potential registrants who might not otherwise be drawn to participate! To receive the custom Series medal, registrants will need to actually complete five of the seven Hometown Half Marathon Series events:

John Brown Half Marathon in Osawatomie, Kansas on February 24

Liberty Half Marathon in Liberty, Missouri on March 23

Top City Half Marathon in Topeka, Kansas on April 27

Running With the Cows Half Marathon in Bucyrus, Kansas on May 11

Clinton Half Marathon in Clinton, Missouri on June 15

Rock Island Trail Half Marathon in Pleasant Hill, Missouri on July 27

Lagerhead Half Marathon in Ottawa, Kansas on November 23

If you want to take on the challenge of the Hometown Half Series, just sign up here to let us know of your intent, and then register for the Series races that you want to run to achieve your Series goal!  Indicate which races you plan to run when you sign up.  You can change your plans along the way, we just want to get a sense of how many Series participants to expect and how they plan to reach their goal. It is free to sign up for the Series, with your only costs being the cost of registration for the individual events.  We will keep track of which Series registrants finish each race to measure their progress towards their goal and a medal will be waiting for participants after they complete their fifth Series event.  Hopefully, this will inspire you to run additional events or run different events than you might otherwise consider.
