Map
Here's the course map for the half marathon: https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/4481566450 Please be aware that around mile 4 on the course you'll make a left turn if you are doing the half marathon or 10k. Both events will then do an out and back on this part of the course. The turnarounds will be clearly marked. The half turnaround is further down the road from the 10k turnaround. There will be volunteers at this critical intersection as well as an aid station.
All events start and finish at the same point next to the Cement Kilns.
The half marathon course is two loops of a 5.25 generally flat course on immaculate ashphalt without any potholes. The 5.25 mile loop contains a spur out and back at mile 4.25 that adds enough distance to make each loop 6.55 miles.
The 10k follows the same loop does the same loop as the half marathon with a shorter out and back spur to get 6.2 miles in one loop.
The 5k goes out 1.55 miles on the paved trail and turns around and heads back to the finish.
AID STATIONS
- There will be aid stations on the course.
- Please make sure to put your garbage (bottles, gels, etc.) in or near the provided garbage cans on the course (just after the aid stations) or carry it to the next station.
- The aid stations will have water and gatorade. They will be located at miles 2 and 4 on the course.
- There is also an aid station at the start/finish are as you start your second loop, so there are 3 aid stations per loop.
