Challenge 4 Charity Foster 5K

The Foster 5k is a race event meant to benefit the Non-profit Challenge for Charity, of which UW-Foster School of Business is an affiliate, and its scholarship recipients include the Special Olympics of Washington, Boys & Girls Clubs, and the University District Food Bank charities. All are welcome to run, walk, or jog the 5K with pride, knowing that proceeds from their participation in the event will go towards the above-mentioned charities. Participants in this event will be assisting UW-Foster in getting points towards winning the "golden briefcase," a recognition trophy for schools with the most charity input per capita among other business school members on the West Coast.

This year we will also hold a dog walk! Sign up for the Dog Walk pack if you intend to bring your pet! Please keep your pets on a leash at all times, you will be responsible for cleaning up after your pet. I hope you can make it for the biggest photo opp for our UW Foster Pet owners!! 

If you are planning on bringing your dog, only DOG PARENTS are required to sign up under the Dog Walk Pack. 

$10 Starter Pack: Bib for the race.

$30 Purple Pack: Bib and your choice of *Foster T-Shirt or Foster Water Bottle.

$50 Gold Pack: Bib and *Foster T-Shirt AND Foster Water Bottle.

$15 Dog Walk Pack: Bib for the walk.

All Foster T-Shirts and Water Bottles given as part of the Purple and Gold Packs are distributed first come first serve! There is a limited number, please show up early in order to ensure you get your swag!

COVID-19 Guidance: Proof of vaccination or negative tests will not be required, and face coverings are optional. Please self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms, and if symptomatic, you must stay home even if vaccinated. Attendees are also encouraged to take a test before the event (within 72 hours) and activate the Washington Exposure Notifications - WA Notify app.
