Dash for Diabetes Awareness 5K & 1Mi Run or Walk

The inaugural Dash for Diabetes Awareness 5K & 1mi RUN or WALK is happening on Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at the Mesilla Plaza.  This event aims to raise crucial funds for Southern New Mexico Diabetes Outreach in honor of November World Diabetes Awareness Month. The Southern NM Diabetes Outreach (SNMDO) is a nonprofit 501c3 organization with a mission to serve southern NM by providing access to diabetes detection, prevention, education, and support. With a vision to bring community awareness, promote healthy futures, and support people living with diabetes. Please consider joining us in our fight to combat diabetes in southern New Mexico and ignite awareness across our region. Go blue in November! 

Location: Mesilla Plaza, 2355 Calle De Guadalupe, Las Cruces, NM 88005

Race date: Saturday, November 16, 2024

Registration closes at 9:00 am. Race check in 9am-9:15am.

Race times: 1 Mile "Fun Walk" begins at 9:20 am.  and 5 K (3.1 Mi) begins at 9:15 am. 

Health fair from 9am to 12pm. 

Awards for the top finishers in male and female groups. (1st, 2nd, 3rd place).
