Thank you for your support of The River Fund Maine, and the 2022 Master of The Mountain.
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the cancelation of this event. We appreciate your support, and hope to find a way to bring an alpine fundraiser back to Sunday River. We hope that you can join us next time. You will be issued a refund for your registration fee, and if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to executivedirector@riverfundmaine.org.

Description
This rally-style ski event is unlike any other challenge in the world. It combines the excitement of downhill skiing with the precision of a timed road rally, while building a bright future for youth. Only one winner will be crowned 2022 Master of the Mountain.
During the Master of the Mountain Challenge, participants are asked to ski to a series of check points on Sunday River slopes. This timed event aims for contestants to ski certain trails at a controlled aggressive pace. Goal is to come as close to the pre-determined target time as possible. Target times will be posted on the top of each run, not in advance.
Competitors can choose to race is two categories:
Elite – Participants will ski the most challenging double black diamond trails in the resort.
- Shock wave
- White heat
- Agony
- Top Gun
- Sirius to Vortex
- RACE ARENA
Advanced – Open to all ages. Participants will ski single black and blue trails.

Course is subject to change.
The $50 registration fee includes a commemorative patch. There are fundraising minimums, listed below. Feel free to fill in your own target when registering.
- Elite Division Fundraising Minimum: $150
- Advanced Division Fundraising Minimum: $100
Raise more money than the minimum to earn great prizes! Incentive levels to hit are as follows:
- Level 1: $250, receive 1 TRFM Branded Carhartt Hat
- Level 2: $500, receive 1 TRFM Branded Carhartt Shirt
- Level 3: $2,500, receive 1 TRFM & Master of The Mountain Branded Marmot Jacket
- Top Fundraiser will receive a 2022/2023 Sunday River Season Pass!
