Faithful Footsteps 2024

This 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, May 25th at 8:00 AM. The beginning & end will be the Rock River Country Club. The Rock River Country Club is located just north of Rock Rapids at 1344 N Union St, Rock Rapids, IA 51246. This is a flat course with a scenic run that weaves through an existing nature trail. The price will be $15 per entrant, which will include a buffet-style breakfast provided by the Rock River Country Club. Individuals that do not run are still welcome to join for breakfast, but there will still be a $15 price point for adults and a $10 option for kids (12 and under) as ATLAS is reimbursing the Rock River Golf & Country Club for the food provided. Additional meal tickets can be purchased on-site). Medals will be given for the top finishers in various categories.

  The proceeds for this event will go toward offsetting the cost to operate the ATLAS of Lyon County Ministry Center. Classes & programming at the Ministry Center is offered free of charge to the public and for use by our community partners such as Youth for Christ & Hope Haven. ATLAS assumes the costs of providing the electricity, repairs, and overall care for the Ministry Center building. An open house for the Ministry Center will take place from 10:00-12:00 on Race Day. Daily Devotions: Monday-Friday @ 9:15 AM

Youth for Christ (Teen Center): Tuesday evenings from 3:30-6:30 (FREE to any 12-18 year old!)

Hope Haven's "Community Coffee": A Christ-centered fellowship with community members. Whether you wish to shoot pool, play board games, or just relax while enjoying a cup of coffee, ALL are welcome on Tuesday & Thursday from 10:00-12:00

Each month, a different aspect of our life's journey is explored and enhanced. These courses are free to the public and vouchers to our Christmas Store or our School Supply drives may be earned for active participation of the attendees.
