Description

We're excited to introduce the ✨ Glow in the Park 5K ✨ (after dark!) which will take place at John Hunt Cross Country Park.

In recent years funding has been cut for the Redstone Army 10 Miler Team. This event directly benefits Team Redstone's entry fee and travel to the Army 10 Miler in Washington DC. This race runs along the nationally renown John Hunt XC Park course which features superb footing. The course is 100% grass but manicured to provide fast times and great footing. Average temperatures for race day are low of 65F, high of 85F.

Packet pickup will be at John Hunt Cross Country Park on Saturday evening from 5-6:45pm.

The 5K will start at 7:00PM Central Time.

There are no refunds, credits, deferrals or friend/ family transfers on entries. We do not mail shirts or medals to participants unable to make the event as left over shirts are donated.

SHIRT, AWARDS & CUTOFFS

All runners in the ✨ Glow in the Park 5K ✨ will receive all receive a t-shirt, light up sunglasses, glow sticks which can be made into bracelets or necklaces.

Age group awards will be top 3 in each AG: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+

The cutoff to complete the 5K course is 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Want a chance to earn back some of that registration fee?

It’s easy - encourage your friends and family to join you for the ✨ Glow in the Park ✨ and receive a refund of $25 (5 referral registrations for eligible events). Have lots of friends? Sure thing, if 5 friends sign up you will receive $25 refunded back from your registration and so on.

How does it work?

After you complete your online registration for an eligible in-person event, your confirmation email will contain a unique URL link that you can share with friends and family. Every time that link is used by someone who completes a registration, we’ll keep a tally.

(Note: Referral refunds will be awarded only once you have reached five (5), ten (10) and fifteen (15) referrals. Maximum refund allowed is $75. The amount will be applied to the credit card on file with your RunSignUp account)

How do I participate?

Referrals can only be credited to you when a registration is completed using your unique URL. Make sure your friends and family use your link to get to the registration site!
