Join us for the 2nd annual Bell Center 5K presented by Daniel Corporation
Lace up your running shoes to make a difference in the lives of infants and toddlers with special needs! The 2025 Bell Center 5K is a community-oriented race benefiting The Bell Center, which provides vital early intervention therapy for hundreds of children from all over Alabama. This family-friendly event is not just about the thrill of crossing the finish line- it's about creating lasting impacts and fostering a more inclusive and supportive community.

There are several ways to participate:
- Register as a BellRunner to raise funds in honor of a child attending therapy at TBC. We ask that BellRunners raise $100/mile for a total of $310. BellRunners will receive VIP benefits, including a coffee bar and catered breakfast, unlimited drinks, bag check, a 15% discount at Trak Shak, and a commemorative race T-shirt.
- Register as a Participant in the race and run/walk Homewood with your friends and family without raising additional funds. Participants will receive a race T-shirt and drink token.
- Young runners (ages 5-17) can register as either a Jr. BellRunner ($100 registration fee in support of a child attending therapy at TBC) OR as a Jr. Participant.
- Want to fundraise as a BellRunner, but can't participate in the race? Register to Raise & Relax.
- Just want a commemorative race shirt without participating in the race? Tshirt Only is for you!
Race Overview:
- Purpose: The 2025 Bell Center 5K is more than just a race: it's a celebration of progress, resilience, and the difference early intervention therapy makes in our community. All proceeds from this event will go towards supporting The Bell Center's mission of maximizing the potential of children ages birth to three years of age who are at risk for developmental delay.
- Course: Our 5K course offers a scenic route through the heart of Homewood, winding by Homewood Park, traversing tree-lined streets, and highlighting local landmarks. Participants of all skill levels are welcome, whether you're an experienced runner or just looking for a leisurely walk.
- Inclusivity: Families, friends, and people of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate. Strollers, wheelchairs or other mobility devices, and furry friends on leashes are welcome!
- Fundraising: We encourage participants to engage in fundraising efforts to support The Bell Center. By registering as a BellRunner, you can create teams, set up personal fundraising pages through Kindful, and help us reach our goals together.
- Awards and Prizes: Top finishers in various categories will receive awards, but the most significant reward is knowing you've contributed to development of children in our community.
- Community Spirit: The 2025 Bell Center 5K is a testament to the strength of our community. Join us to share in the spirit of togetherness, support, and empowerment as we take steps toward a brighter future for children with special needs.

- The Bell Center Children's Run– This fun 50 foot dash is an opportunity for the children attending therapy at The Bell Center to celebrate of all the progress they have made over the year.
- Post-race Party: After the race, join us for a truly unforgettable morning, including music, food, and drinks.
