All events will start & finish at the Museum of the Rockies: 600 West Kagy Blvd
Parking and Traffic: is available at the MSU Fieldhouse, University Police Station, Greek Way, and east of the Museum near Freshies and Pilgrim Church. Parking is NOT permitted in the Museum of the Rockies lot or the EAST Stadium Tailgate lot (this is the Kids’ Run Course). Kagy will be closed from South 11th to South Third. Expect traffic delays. The races will start on time! Plan to arrive early, enjoy a warm drink, and soak in the community spirit.
Schedule:
8:00 am: Kids' Run = Green Bibs
8:50 am: 10K = Orange Bibs
9:10 am: 5K TIMED = Yellow Bibs
9:15 am: 5K Untimed (Fun Run) = Blue Bibs
Starting Line: Signs will be in the corrals based on running pace (speed) per mile with faster runners toward the front of the corrals. Please seed yourselves accordingly and be courteous to your fellow participants. We welcome walkers and strollers and ask that you line up in the corral closest to the Museum.
Please remain on the right side of the road unless otherwise directed. Dogs are NOT permitted on the Museum grounds OR on the race course
Course Information: See our Course Information page to familiarize yourself with your route on race day.
Course Aid Stations: Water and basic first aid supplies are available at aid stations located at the Start/Finish line, on Wagon Wheel Road (for all participants) and at Graf & Peace Pipe (for 10K participants). American Medical Response is on site in the event of serious injury.
Chip Timing: Timed race participants—your bib has a computerized timing chip that is assigned to you; do not exchange it. Untimed race bibs do not have timing chips and it will not be possible for you to retrieve your time.
Race Results: Will be available immediately after the races.
Restroom Facilities: Please use the portable restrooms at the Museum of the Rockies and near the water stations on Wagon Wheel and Peace Pipe.
Photo & Video: Please know we will have videographers and photographers at the race. If you do not wish to be on film/in photos, please email Rachel, rsalang@thehrdc.org.
Food & Drinks: We will have coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fruit, and granola bars available before and after the race. Water is available on the course and at the finish line.
Clothing & Weather:
- Wear your race bib number on your front outer garment.
- Dress appropriately for seasonal weather conditions.
- Sorry, we do not have a place to store any items you wish to have at the finish line.
Volunteers & Sponsors: Please thank volunteers for their time and dedication, and please thank and support our sponsors. Gallatin Valley's favorite holiday tradition would not be possible without sponsors and volunteers!
