5K Run
This is a live in-person event.
The 5K will start promptly at 7:30 a.m. The course is a flat, fast loop beginning and ending at Palm City Presbyterian Church.
A full breakfast is served to participants after the race in the Huizenga Family Life Center to keep you fueled until it's Turkey Time. Friends and family -- we plan to have enough for you too, but please allow participants to get breakfast first.
A 2024 Turkey Trot t-shirt is included for all pre-registered 5K participants. There are limited quantities of each size, so register early to get your preferred size. All finishers are awarded a customized Turkey Trot medal.
1st to 3rd place awards will be given for each age group, as well as overall and masters awards for men and women.
Chip timing and race day coordination provided by MCM Timing & Results, LLC.
Packet pickup will be on Tuesday, 11/26 and on Wednesday, 11/27 at Palm City Presbyterian Church from 12 pm - 6 pm.
Race-Day Packet Pickup will begin at 6:15 AM.
**Any packets not picked up by 6:45 a.m. on race day will be available for pickup at PCPC during the week of 11/28.**
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
CAN I BRING A JOGGING STROLLER?
We would love for you to bring your little one with you. The race is a bit congested for the first mile, so we ask our runners with strollers to start behind faster racers and to yield right of way to those without strollers.
HOW LONG IS THE KIDS RACE?
It will be short, but exciting - about 100 yards or less. The Fun Run happens as the 5k winds down … usually about 8:15 a.m. Listen for announcements as that time approaches. All children will receive a medal.
CAN I BRING MY DOG?
Sorry, no pets please.
WHAT IS THE COURSE?
The race starts in front of the church. Runners will go west on Martin Highway, turn left at High Meadow onto the sidewalk, turn left on Golden Bear, turn left onto Berry, and another left onto Martin Highway. Finally, one last left into the church parking lot and the finish line.
There will be one water station at the corner of High Meadows and Golden Bear Way.
WHAT ARE THE T-SHIRTS LIKE THIS YEAR?
This year's t-shirts are short-sleeved, and feature quick-dry performance fabric.
