Partnering with International Association for Human Values (IAHV) and Overseas Volunteers for Better India (OVBI), Suvidha International Foundation empowers the villages by educating children, implementing water conservation projects, providing leadership and vocational trainings for youth and women, instilling holistic health through yoga, meditation and other healthy practices, creating awareness on health and hygiene, and providing organic farming training to farmers.
Majority places in India including Telugu States rely on rain water for irrigation and are currently facing severe water crisis. This year Chennai ran out of water. Unless we come up with innovative solutions, 21 major cities in India will also run out of water next year and additional cities will join this list every year. Farming will also be significantly impacted if enough water is not available. Partnering with OVBI and other non-profits, Suvidha plans to eliminate water poverty in several villages in Telugu States by constructing check dams, recharge structures, farm ponds, afforestation, soaking pits, and other ways.
The event proceeds will be used for water conservation projects. Please generously donate to Suvidha Internation to support the cause.
