There is limited parking on 2nd Street in front of the CB Nordic Center for team vehicles.
ONE Vehicle per Team allowed in CB Nordic Parking. Additional space available for equipment drop-off in front of CB Nordic Cat Barn.
Additional parking can be found in the town of Crested Butte. The town of Crested Butte lot at the intersection of 6th St. and Elk Ave. (the “4-way”), and the school parking lot off of Red Lady Ave. are suggested. Skiing to race stadium available from the school parking lot. 12/13/22 update: skiing possible from school parking lot, but spectators should be prepared for rock skiing on one hill leading up to stadium.
NO DOGS or PETS allowed in race stadium or on race course. Spectators wishing to ski with dogs must ski on designated trails at Magic Meadows and purchase a day and pet pass from the Crested Butte Nordic Center.
Team tents and wax equipment can be set up in the Stadium (see map).
There will be a generator present in the waxing areas for use by teams.
Wax testing can occur on the marked-off section of the Sprint loop, accessed directly from the stadium. This hill will be groomed for glide-outs.

Reference attached maps for additional details.
Spectators are prohibited on course at all times during the JNQ. Those wishing to ski are encouraged to ski at Magic Meadows or Town Ranch Trails with a CB Nordic Day-Pass.
Participants are allowed on course during race with bib turned inside-out. All skiers must follow direction of race traffic, and skiers can use designated cut-offs to return to stadium No skiing opposite of race traffic.
ATHLETE & COACH WAIVERS
Athletes and coaches must complete a waiver by Sunday, December 11th, 2022 at 5:00 pm.
Athletes without a signed waiver will not be allowed to preview course on Friday or start on Saturday.
Waiver: https://crestedbuttenordic.formstack.com/forms/waiver
PLEASE double check that your athletes and coaches have completed the waiver.
COACHES BIBS
NEW 12/14/22: Each club must fill out the following coach roster per TD request in order to get a coach’s bib. EXTRA bibs available for pickup in the race office (bib pickup) Saturday morning.
CB JNQ Coach/Tech/Volunteer Roster
In order to meet the US Ski and Snowboards MAAPP compliance, we ask that all coaches wear their US Ski and Snowboard Coaches bib. This ensures that your US Ski and snowboard coaches’ membership is active. Bibs need to be visible and are required for course access, in the waxing areas, and in the start/ finish stadium. If coaches have yet to receive their new US Ski and Snowboard bib for the season (orange bib), they should send their name and US Ski and Snowboard license number to Ben Theyerl at ben@cbnordic.org, and provide an extra bib or distinguishable from the CB Nordic bibs (i.e. old Birkie bib, etc…) (CB Nordic has a limited supply of extra bibs).
PROTESTS
OFFICIAL Protests must be filed in writing with the Chief of Competition by the end of the competition day. To be reviewed by the Race Jury.
For awards ceremony purposes: STRONGLY SUGGESTED that protests are filed within 15-minutes of the posting of unofficial results.
