Kids Run SARR Training

Our 5K training program is designed for kids age 7-12 who can already run 15 minutes without stopping up to walk/running a 5K. Twice a week training activities include running, walking and running games!

Program also includes:

  • Developing an understanding of running as well as learning the physiological components of the sport
  • Achieving the ability to walk, walk/run, or run for 30 minutes several days a week
  • Encouraging proper running form
  • Incorporating both warm-up and cool-down techniques
  • Developing character skills (setting goals, encouraging others, positive attitude, etc.) and an understanding of the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
