Thank you for considering a membership with Vasa Ski Club! Our mission is to promote access and enjoyment of Nordic skiing through instruction, recreation, and community.
VSC has been in existence for over 30 years. We were founded as “Traverse Nordic Ski Club”, and later changed the name to Vasa Ski Club to reflect the premier Vasa trail that many of us regularly ski. However, our club activities are not limited to the Vasa trail, and we can be found all across the Grand Traverse region enjoying the beauty of winter out on the trails with the camaraderie of our fellow skiers!
Our members are skiers of all ages and all ability levels - from beginner to advanced - with programs in junior skier development up through adult ski clinics.
Vasa Ski Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your membership helps to support the following Activities:
Nordic Rocks - In-School Skier Development Program for Elementary School students.
SkiSparks - After School Skier Development Program for Elementary School students.
Nordic Flyers - Skier Development Program for Middle School students.
High School Nordic Ski Team - Combined TC area high schools team for gr. 9-12
WeSki - All ages and abilities ski instruction program.
SheSki - Wednesday evenings @ Timber Ridge Resort.
Nordic Rendezvous - All ages and abilities specialized ski clinic event.
Michigan Cup - VSC Race Team for Michigan Cup Races.
Social Events - both ski and non-ski.
