Did you know that just last year, 61 Families in our community heard the words, "Your child has cancer."

I can't even begin to imagine what that is like. 

Working at C.U.R.E. has provided me the opportunity to meet so many of these resilient, amazing Families and understand just a sliver of what they and their child are going through. C.U.R.E. is with these Families from diagnosis and beyond, assuring them that they are not alone in their battles. C.U.R.E. provides financial, social, educational and emotional support. This includes everything from parking passes at Golisano Hospital, rent or car payments, to funeral expenses, social programming like Bell Ringing Celebrations, Survivors' Day Picnic & monthly Parents' Night Outs and so much more. The purpose of our social programs is to connect Families with one another, to share their experiences and to help them see they have a village of support that surrounds them.
