This year, I’m running the Crescent City Classic with a mission to support the Touro Infirmary Foundation. For over 170 years, Touro has provided compassionate care, advanced medical treatment, and unwavering support to countless individuals and families. It’s not just a hospital—it's a community with a mission to create a culture of wellness in New Orleans.
October 1, 2020, I had a fibroelastoma on my aortic valve removed at Touro Infirmary. I was an inpatient in critical care, went to cardiac rehab, and am doing great today. I received excellent care then and continue to have excellent care provided by Touro and LCMC. I would like to give back to Touro Infirmary Foundation for others to receive support.
