Jog for Jay is held in honor of Jayson Robert Murset, who passed away in a car accident in 2021 at the age of 16. Jayson was loved by many and was counted as a loyal friend, exceptional athlete, beloved part of his family, and light to all who came into contact with him. He overcame the daily challenges of being a Type I Diabetic and had a passion for being physically active and spending time with family/friends. This event is an opportunity for us to come together to honor Jayson, raise money towards a scholarship in his name, and celebrate his life.
Arizona Brainfood is a non-profit organization that discreetly provides a backpack of food to feed hungry school children on the weekends, servicing Mesa and Gilbert and surrounding areas. We hope that each child will return to school every Monday mentally aware and physically able to concentrate.
