Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity's "26th Annual Turkey Trot" has been cancelled.
Due to the unforeseen devastation caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, we regretfully announce the cancellation of the 26th Annual Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity Turkey Trot. While this has been an emotionally difficult decision to make, it was made out of respect and concern for our community, our staff, our volunteers and our participants. For those who have already registered, your entry will be deferred to the 2025 Turkey Trot. Thank you for understanding and supporting our decision. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those whose lives were affected by the storms.
Please note that FSW College has a no pet, no smoking policy. We appreciate your cooperation in following their guidelines.
Race registration are non-refundable and non-deferrable.
Per USATF rules, gun time is used to determine prize money winners and time bonus recipients. Tag time (chip time) will be used to determine all age-group

Since 1987, Charlotte County Habitat has helped over 560 Charlotte County families achieve the dream of home ownership and this year we plan to help an additional 29. Charlotte County Habitat homes are sold at an affordable price to qualified applicants who meet our program criteria. Our applicants must have a need for affordable housing, must have the ability to pay their mortgage and must have a willingness to partner with Charlotte County Habitat. Our affiliate operates four resale stores, one in Punta Gorda, two in Port Charlotte and one in Englewood. These stores generate revenue which helps purchase materials needed to build homes for families in Charlotte County.
